To use the following cheats, you must enable cheat mode in the game. To do this, instead of typing map q3test1 for example, type devmap q3dm17. Whilst the map is loading, you should get a conformation message saying "Cheats are Enabled"

Once the cheat mode has been enabled, you can use the following cheats:

/GIVE [item] - Replace [item] with the desired item, for example "give quad damage", "give health" or "give railgun".

/GIVE ALL - Gives you all weapons and gives max ammo, armor and life.

/GOD - Enables God Mode.

/NOCLIP - Allows you to walk through walls.
